Headshots that look like you
A professional headshot should help people recognize and trust you. It does not need to feel stiff. Whether you need one image for a profile or a set of photographs for your work, the process can stay straightforward.
I am Steven Lelham, a photographer based in Turlock, California. I give clear direction—where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to turn—so you do not have to invent a pose.

Studio and on-location
Studio
A simple backdrop keeps the attention on your face. Good when you want a clean image for LinkedIn, a directory, or a team page that has to match other people.

On location
We can make headshots at a workplace, on campus, or in another setting that fits your role. The background stays quiet enough that the photograph still reads as a headshot.

What a session looks like
Start with the use
Tell me where the image will live and what it needs to say. A lawyer’s profile, a nurse’s team page, and a student’s first LinkedIn photo are different jobs.
Direction, not a performance
I will place you, check the light, and give you something to do with your hands. You do not need to know how to pose. We can make a few expressions and keep the ones that look like you.

Turlock and Central Valley headshots
I am based in Turlock and available in Modesto, Sacramento, and communities throughout the Central Valley. I also travel to the San Francisco Bay Area when the location is part of the photograph.
Existing work includes studio headshots and on-location portraits made for professionals, students, and teams. If you have a particular setting in mind, include it in your message.

Session details
Headshot photography is scoped to the session and the work you need—one person or a small team, studio or location, a single frame or a set. There is no need to decide everything before reaching out.
